France- Strasbourg and Colmar (Mon 7/19)
First thing today was driving to drop Bonnie off at a relative’s house. We stayed there a while, eating, drinking, and talking. Then we continued on to Strasbourg, France. Once there, we visited the Notre Dame Cathedral. It was amazing how big it was! And the stained glass was beautiful. We were going to take the stairs up to the top balcony, but the limit of people had been reached so they closed it. Then we ate a pretty good meal and just walked around enjoying the town.
Next we drove to Colmar, where we got some ice cream and walked around, then checked into Hotel Le Relais du Ried. We ate dinner at the restaurant there and stayed out for a while- the weather was beautiful!
