In Germany Now!
We have finally arrived in Germany!!! We flew on Iceland Air, which was a good airline, sort of like Southwest in the U.S.- not expensive and not many frills. There were seatback monitors that had movies, games, music, flight info, etc
The flight from Minneapolis to Reykjavik was 5.5 hours and I managed to sort of doze off for about an hour. Flying into Iceland was so cool- just the views and the fact that...well, it's ICELAND. Once we got there we had to go through security again, so we didn't spend much time in the airport (Frankfurt flight boarded about an hour after we landed from Minneapolis). I'm looking forward to going back, though!
The view leaving Reykjavik was even better than the one coming in. See following pictures:
Once we met up with Juergen, Sascha, and Edith, we went out to dinner at this really cool restaurant up on a hillside overlooking the valley. I got pizza, which was amazing. It tasted especially good because it was the first "real" food I'd had since we left home!

The restaurant also had a playground and a watchtower you could climb up on. It was so good to stretch our legs and have some fun! Now we are back at their house, just chilling out. I wish I could fit more pictures onto here because there are so many!! Oh well :) SO EXCITED!
