Gelnhausen
The first thing we did today was go to a photo shop to see if we could get my mom's camera fixed. Last night when I was bringing it inside I accidentally dropped it and the bottom of the camera was open (to get the SD card out), and the cover got bent and will not close :(. At the shop they told us that since the actual camera still works and we can almost get the latch to close, we should just wait 'til we get back to the states and send it to the manufacturer to get fixed.

Next, we climbed into a tower type thing that had a great view of the town. From the tower, we walked down into the town. We went into the big church (left side of left image). The stained glass there was fantastic and the architecture reminded me a lot of the one we saw yesterday. It seemed almost unreal- something I have only seen in history class movies. We continued to walk around the town, and ended up visiting the house of a family friend who lived in the town. It was a very cool experience to visit Gelnhausen because it is close to a thousand years old and the buildings and streets reflected that.
